Publisher Indieforge and developer Asylum Square have announced some big news for its indie platformer, Tiny Thor. The companies have confirmed that the game will release on the Nintendo Switch on August 3rd. Additionally, the game first launched on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 5th.

The company, to celebrate the announcement, released a teaser trailer. In the trailer, viewers get a great look at the game on the Nintendo Switch as well as some of its gameplay and reviews since its release on PC. The game is described as follows, “In Tiny Thor, players will explore the mystical Norse realm of Asgard, adventuring across 30 unique, hand-crafted levels. Along the way, the diminutive deity will encounter tricky environmental puzzles and almighty adversaries, including the many-tentacled Kraken and the infamous trickster God, Loki.”

Moreover, players as the young hero will be armed with the Mjolnir which will allow them to overcome obstacles and succeed in several boss battles. Furthermore, players can learn several cool and new skills while unlocking challenge levels to test their might. Also, the game features nostalgic art and soundtracks from industry veterans such as Henk Nieborg and Chris Hulsbeck.

Therefore, players will have the opportunity to navigate a unique world and discover secrets of Norse mythology while using their mini-mjolnir to defeat enemies and solve puzzles. Thus, it is the perfect indie game to try out on the Switch!
