Tokyo-based NexTone inks a global distribution deal with SESAC-owned music technology company AudioSalad, significantly expanding its distribution network for DSPs.
The Tokyo-headquartered NexTone Corporation has announced a new partnership with US-based music technology company AudioSalad, significantly expanding its distribution network across digital service providers. Through this global distribution deal, NexTone is able to distribute its clients’ music to leading services worldwide.
As the leading Japanese rights management and distribution company, NexTone has an established set of direct relationships with major global DSPs, as well as domestic providers in Japan, and has developed its own efficient supply network.
The new partnership with AudioSalad enables the company to expand the distribution reach for its Japanese content to a worldwide audience. NexTone is now poised to effectively provide a service to its clients that ensures content is present across a comprehensive range of DSPs.
AudioSalad is part of the SESAC Music Group, a New York-based global multi-line music company. The music tech-focused AudioSalad has offices in Los Angeles and London, in addition to its headquarters in New York, and remote staff located in various global markets.
The NexTone union is the first Japanese partnership for AudioSalad, known for its industry-leading content management, analytics, delivery, and distribution solutions. The new partnership will provide additional services, including digital marketing and the promotion of NexTone’s catalog.
