Tony Romo accidentally referred to Taylor Swift as Travis Kelce’s “wife” as she watched the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Buffalo Bills Sunday.
“As you see, Kelce’s wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience,” the CBS Sports analyst said in a clip from the game as the camera flashed from the tight end on the field to the singer in the crowd.
Realizing his mistake, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, 43, chuckled and quickly corrected himself, saying, “I’m sorry, girlfriend.”
“Not yet!” fellow commentator Jim Nantz quipped in response.
The pop superstar was spotted cheering on her beau alongside family and friends of the team from a VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
The “Blank Space” songstress was notably without her WAG bestie Brittany Mahomes, whom she coordinated outfits with for the Chiefs game in Wisconsin last weekend.

Since making her debut back in September, Swift, 33, has become somewhat of a staple at Kelce’s games when she isn’t on tour.

Despite criticism from NFL fans for the amount of attention she has garnered during the games, the 12-time Grammy winner’s presence has made a notable impact on viewership.
USA Today reported that Swift’s second game-day appearance made the Chiefs game against the New York Jets the second most-watched game of the 2023 season.

While Romo may be jumping the gun on the “Karma” songstress’ relationship with Kelce, 34, Swift recently revealed the actual timeline of when they started dating.
In honor of being named Time’s Person of the Year, she told the outlet that she and the two-time Super Bowl champion “were a couple” prior to her appearance at his Sept. 24 home game.
In fact, the pair started hanging out after he called her out on his “New Heights” podcast episode in July — which she even described as “metal as hell.”
“We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other,” Swift said.

Addressing her first appearance in the stands, the “Lavender Haze” hitmaker clarified, “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she added.
“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
