Forget everything you know about joke burgers.
From the fast food chain that came up with the choco burger, the “real” 20-slice cheeseburger, and subsequent surreal fakes, comes Burger King’s latest – a burger of towering meaty proportions.
Introduced as The Real Meat Burger, Burger King’s newest viral marketing stunt is a three-patty burger starting at THB339 that customers can stack with additional patties for THB100 each. The patties are around 5-inches wide.
Think it’s a joke? The food blogger who runs the page Believe Me, I’ve Already Ate This did the unenviable task of eating a 100-patty burger priced at THB10,039 (US$300).
In the video, the man can be standing up to munch on the ungodly burger from the side. After getting a few patties in, he pours on a cup of chili sauce.
“You can’t sit down and eat this, you’ve got to stand up. At first, I didn’t know how to eat it, so I ate from the side which was messy, so it’s better to eat from the top,” he says in the video.
Alas, he could not finish eating the stacked burger and had to sit down and eat each patty one by one.
