Ever since the news of Kareena Kapoor Khan making an exit from Yash starrer Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups is out, fans have been wondering who will play the KGF star’s sister in the film. The buzz is that the makers of Toxic have approached Jawan diva Nayanthara to play the lead star Yash’s sister in it. As per reports doing rounds on the internet, the makers had several meetings with Nayanthara to finalise her in the film after the Crew actress left the film citing date issues. Nayanthara is called the lady superstar in the south industry and she has always been very picky when it comes to choosing films. Nayanthara’s previous releases
Nayanthara’s last film Annapoorani faced a massive backlash as the audience claimed of hurting religious sentiments, the film was so badly bashed that it was put down by the OTT streaming platform Netflix. While her Bollywood debut Jawan along with Shah Rukh Khan failed to impress the audience, as she had no meatier role, and looks like now Toxic will be a comeback for her.
Talking about Toxic, Bollywood star Kiara Advani plays Yash’s love interest in the film. The film is reportedly set in the backdrop of the mafia world and it’s going to be an out-and-out actioner. Along with Yash fans would love to see Nayanthara doing some high-octane action as she is all set to play mafia’s sister in the film.
