Foundation
Veteran episodic director Tim Southam (“One Piece,” “Lost in Space”) will take over directing duties on the third season of Apple TV+ series “Foundation” from writer/showrunner David S. Goyer who will continue to write and executive produce from Los Angeles.
Goyer was slated to helm the first three episodes of the season – he shot 80$ of the first and 50% each of the second and third. Southam will complete those episodes. Filming resumes March 6th in Prague and four Polish cities. [Source: Deadline
Tales from the Void
Streaming service Screambox has acquired the exclusive streaming rights to “Tales From the Void,” an anthology adaptation of stories that originated on subreddit r/NoSleep.
Francesco Loschiavo created the series consisting of six stories from the community which has 18 million subscribers. Joe Lynch, Maritte Lee Go and more will direct episodes of the show which debuts this Fall. [Source: Variety]
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf
Dar Salim (“The Covenant”) has scored the recurring role of Mohammed ‘Mo’ Farooq in “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf” at Amazon Prime Video. Mo is an Iraqi Special Operations Forces officer, formerly trained in the CIA Scorpions program.
The prequel spin-off follows Taylor Kitsch’s Ben Edwards character on his journey from Navy SEAL to CIA paramilitary operator. Tom Hopper, Luke Hemsworth, Chris Pratt and Jared Shaw also star. [Source: Deadline]
Apple TV+
Apple TV+ has reportedly added more than 50 licensed movies to its subscription service – the streamer’s biggest collection of back-catalog studio content to date.
These third-party titles will only be available for a limited time – as in a few weeks with some leaving later in March, others at the end of April. The films are listed under the ‘Great Movies on Apple TV+’ section and include the likes of “Titanic,” “Jurassic World,” “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Argo,” “300,” “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Gravity,” “Star Trek Into Darkness” and more. Only Murders in the Building
Production has officially gotten underway on the fourth season of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” with actors Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short photographed in a cold Los Angeles today.
The series will make a brief visit to the west coast city before returning to its usual The Arconia building setting in New York. The new season is expected to premiere later this year. [Source: Instagram]
