TV presenter and actress Annabel Giles has died after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, her children have said.
Her children said she passed away ‘peacefully’ yesterday (20 November) at Martlets Hospice in Hove.
In a statement on social media, her children Ted and Molly said: “It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of our incredible mother, Annabel Giles, who passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon at Martlets Hospice in Hove.

“In July, Mum was diagnosed with a stage 4 Glioblastoma, a fast-growing and highly aggressive malignant brain tumour.
“In the four months that followed, she displayed remarkable resilience and strength, despite undergoing brain surgery and countless radiotherapies. In her final weeks, she was passionate about raising awareness for Glioblastoma, embodying her lifelong commitment to helping others.”
The siblings went on to pay tribute to their ‘one of a kind mum’, saying that she inspired them to ‘live life to the fullest’.
“Mum was truly one of a kind, an enigma to those privileged to share her life. True to her nature, she kept spirits high and maintained her quick wit until the very end. Her humour and laughter will leave us inspired to live life to the fullest, just as she always did.
“We thank you for your love and support and kindly request that you respect our privacy at this challenging time.
“In lieu of flowers or other gifts, we would be grateful for donations to Martlets Hospice, whose exceptional care was a great source of comfort throughout this journey.

“With heartfelt thanks, Molly & Tedd x”
Annabel starred in the 13th series of I’m A Celeb, dropping into camp as a late arrival alongside Vincent Simone – she was the first celebrity to be evicted via public vote.
Speaking about the first thing she did after her exit, she told Digital Spy: “I had a hamburger in the bath because I had been dreaming of both. I didn’t know which one to do first, so my beautiful daughter went to get me a hamburger while I ran the bath. I did both at the same time and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done in my whole life.”
Alongside her TV work and modelling, Annabel was a popular author, with her debut novel Birthday Girls reaching number six in the top 10 in the best-seller lists in 2001.
