Social media has become a minefield for Ghanaians after the frankly bizarre decision by Chef Smith to lie about his Guinness World Record (GWR) cookathon attempt.
Nigerians, who are always ready to exchange barbs with Ghanaians, are now cooking Ghanaians like waakye after GWR confirmed that Chef Smith was lying.
In case you aren’t aware, the Chef who cooked for over 800 hours during his cookathon attempt held a press conference yesterday, Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 during which he announced GWR had approved his attempt and hence he had broken the record for the longest cooking marathon.
However, it didn’t take long for it to emerge that his claim was a lie.
Once GWR confirmed he was lying, Nigerians came out in droves to troll Ghanaians after BBC pidgin posted about the lie.
