Memphis rapper Glorilla performed “Lick or Sum!” at the BET Awards 2023. She was also nominated for Best New Artist, Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Album of the Year (Anyways, Life’s Great), Video of the Year (“Tomorrow 2”), and twice for Best Collaboration (“Tomorrow 2,” “F.N.F.”). Glorilla shared the video for “Lick or Sum!” late last month; the track samples DJ Paul, Juicy J, Lord Infamous, and Project Pat’s 1999 hit “Slob on My Knob.” Last week she was named a member of the XXL Freshman Class of 2023. Earlier this month she performed at Hot 97 Summer Jam. In March, three people were killed by a crowd crush at her concert in Rochester, New York.
In February Glorilla performed in 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop Celebration at the 2023 Grammys alongside Lil Wayne, Big Boi, Queen Latifah, Salt-N-Pepa, Run-D.M.C., De La Soul, Method Man, and many others.
