Wendy Williams diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia

Wendy Williams has been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. Her care team shared the news in a statement, saying the daytime talk show host underwent various tests in 2023 after her memory started to fail and she began to “lose words” and “act erratically.” Doctors concluded her struggles were due to these neurodegenerative diseases.
