Where is Senna from in League of Legends?
According to the League of Legends lore, Senna was born on a small island off the coast of Demacia. During her early years, she attempted to explore a shipwreck but as she was doing so, the Black Mist tried to trap her in. Luckily, she and the rest of her village were saved from a Sentinel of Light called Urias but the Mist continued to haunt Senna. As a result, Urias trained Senna so that she could fight back every time the Black Mist found her.
Even though Senna is technically not a Demacian, she has deep ties with the region. Not only because of her proximity but also due to her history with Lucian, who happened to be Urias’ son. While the dad was slain by wraiths that had followed Senna, she trained Lucian to become a Sentinel, and fell in love during that process.
The two ended up fighting Thresh, the Chain Warden, with the hopes of helping Senna get rid of her curse. During that fight, Senna ended up taking Thresh’s hook to save Lucian, trapping her soul into the lantern. Since then, Lucian spent years looking for ways to free her lover.
With that in mind, we can say that Senna doesn’t belong to any of the main regions and factions within the League of Legends universe. She can’t really be considered a Demacian but is heavily affiliated both with the kingdom as well as the Shadow Isles due to the mist that has been haunting her for almost her entire life.
As Lucian drove his pistol into Thresh’s lantern, Senna escaped, shrouded in death and wielding a cannon made from other Sentinels’ relic weapons. She used it to protect Lucian from Thresh’s attack and then she sent Thresh flying, immediately afterwards the souls of the lantern were beginning to be absorbed again and she began to drag Senna as well. But Lucian managed to quickly reach her to hug her to avoid the flashlight would absorb it again.
