Destinee Ariel Cothran and Justin Lee Brown are the parents of a missing 8-day-old baby in Chapel Hill, North Carolina who are on the run from authorities.
Police issued an Amber Alert for 8-day-old Jaxton Brown, who had apparently gone missing.
He had last been seen with his parents, Destinee Ariel Cothran, 26, of Garner, and Justin Lee Brown, 29, of Durham.
Police canceled the Amber Alert soon after as they found the child, but the parents remain on the run.
Destinee Ariel Cothran and Justin Lee Brown are the parents of Jaxton Brown, an 8-day old baby who was the subject of an AMBER Alert in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Baby Jaxton Brown went missing Friday, last seen at the Red Roof Inn Chapel Hill at 5623 Fordham Blvd. in Durham, was with his parents.
Chapel Hill Police issued the Amber alert about 7 p.m. Monday and a little more than two hours later, said 8-day-old Jaxton Brown had been found in Durham and was safe.
Meanwhile, his parents were not found.

Jaxton was handed off to a probation officer, investigators told ABC11.
The search for Cothran and Brown continues.
An Amber Alert was publicized around 6:45 p.m. for a missing newborn last seen Friday with his parents at a Chapel Hill hotel, police said Monday night.
Police said they were looking for Jaxton Brown, who is 8 days old.
Jaxton Brown was born on Sunday, Feb. 18, and was last seen Friday at the Red Roof Inn at 5623 Fordham Blvd, near the Durham border.
He is 7 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
His parents are Justin Lee Brown, 29, of Durham, and Destinee Ariel Cothran, 26, of Garner.
As the search continues, anyone with information should call 911 or contact the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday).
