Vin Diesel took his time searching for the perfect partner. He dated his co-star, Michelle Rodriguez, around 2002 but their romance was short-lived. A few years later, while shooting the 2005 comedy film, The Pacifier, he got the urge to be a father.
“Working with babies on the set for so long, it really started to bring out this desire to have a child,” he shared. “And it took a couple of years after that to find the right person and to hopefully be mature enough to be a great father which is really all you want to do.”

Vin Diesel also added that he thinks famous people dating famous people are just asking for trouble. He doesn’t want his relationship to become a “punch line” in people’s lives.
The couple is enjoying parenthood without labels.
Vin Diesel and his girlfriend are now a family of 5. They welcomed their first in 2008, a daughter named Hania Riley. In 2010, they welcomed their son, Vincent. 5 years later, they welcomed their youngest daughter, Pauline. She is named after Vin Diesel’s late friend and co-star, Paul Walker.
Vin Diesel is also the godfather of Walker’s daughter, Meadow. He even walked her down the aisle when she got married.
