After 2021’s The Long Ballad , Rosy Zhao Lusi (趙露思) and Liu Yuning (劉宇寧) are reuniting on-screen in upcoming drama, The Legend of Jewelry . Since they had previously worked together before, it came as a surprise that many fans reacted negatively to the pairing.
Despite their physical compatibility and on-screen chemistry, netizens are worried whether Liu Yuning will overshadow Zhao Lusi, as he outshined other stars in Legend of Anle . Despite being credited in a supporting role, Liu Yuning’s screen time and storyline far exceeded the main leads, Dilraba Dilmurat (迪丽热巴) and Gong Jun (龔俊). As such, dedicated fans are concerned Zhao Lusi will not get her opportunity to shine in her role.
Not bothered by the fan wars, Zhao Lusi and Liu Yuning have a good relationship off-screen. When filming started, they took photos happily. Appearing very surprised as they opened the red envelopes, Liu Yuning later confirmed that it was a hefty red pocket, leading to both their shocked reactions.
