Director Ajay Gnanamuthu made a promising debut with the horror thriller ‘Demonte Colony’. The 2015 film is hailed as one of the best horror works in Kollywood. The maker announced a sequel to the highly acclaimed movie last year with Arulnithi reprising the lead role.
Today, the first look and motion poster of Demonte Colony 2 debuted on the internet. The first part ended with the death of Arulnithi’s character due to the necklace’s curse. Now, the sequel’s first look poster shows a haunted Arulnithi holding an eerie emblem in a horrifying cemetery background. The motion poster shows an eye-bleeding statue.
The film kicked off last year with Arulnithi and Antti Jaaskelainen reprising their roles from the original. Meanwhile, Priya Bhavani Shankar joined the sequel as the female lead and the second part additionally stars Tsering Dorjee, Arun Pandian, Muthukumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Sarjano Khalid, Archana R and others.
Demonte Colony 2 will release in theatres in multiple languages this September. Produced by Gnanamuthu Pattarai and White Nights Entertainment, the technical team has Sam CS as the music composer, Harish Kannan and Deepak D Menon as the cinematographers, Kumaresh D as the editor, Ganesh as the stunt master and Ravi Pandi as the art director.
