As Former Secretary of State Alexander Haig (1981-1982) once stated: “Israel is the largest American aircraft carrier in the world that cannot be sunk, does not carry even one American soldier, and is located in a critical region for American national security.”
Haig understood the tremendous value the Jewish state of Israel is to American national security.
Today, we are witnessing a US administration that has forgotten the importance of the US-Israel alliance, and is instead throwing Israel, America’s most reliable ally in the Middle East, under the bus, while actively allowing Israel’s enemies to literally get away with murder, a foreign policy direction, that will end up hurting the United States. Appeasing terrorists, and terror supporting entities, never has a happy ending.
Democrat Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer, just spoke on the Senate floor, most probably following orders from the Biden White House, and literally threw Israel under the bus.
Schumer went nuclear against Israel on the Senate floor, equating Netanyahu to leaders of Hamas, and right wing Israelis to Hamas terrorists. Schumer did this by blaming Netanyahu and us proudly right-wing Israelis for blocking the Biden administration’s plan to reward the Hamas & Palestinian Authority terrorists, for their massacre of over 1,200 innocent Jews on Oct. 7th, with the recognition of a terror-state called “palestine”.
As if that was not enough, Schumer continued the Biden White House false narrative claim that the Netanyahu government does not represent the Israeli people, and Schumer had the gall, or as we say in Jewish, the chutzpah, to threaten Israel with regime change.
What is quite sad is that we haven’t heard the Biden administration threaten the terror-supporting Islamic state of Iran with regime change. Yet, we are hearing it from the administration against America’s closest ally in the Middle East, as well as the only democracy in the Middle East, Israel.
As if to highlight the alternate reality upon which the Biden administration is living in, Iran literally exports terror all around the world, that murders Americans year after year, while Israel exports technological advancements, medical advancements and extremely important intelligence to the US government and army. Yet, just a few days ago, and also back in November 2023, the Biden administration has freed up a total of $20 billion dollars for the Islamic terror regime of Iran, while calling for a regime change in Israel.
Schumer said in his Senate floor speech that we in Israel ‘can’t let our anger or trauma stop us from moving forward and doing what is best for us’, which according to Schumer means accepting the creation of another terror state called palestine.
However, Schumer, and the whole Biden administration, are disconnected from reality. They are totally misreading the Israeli public.
Israeli society today understands more than ever before, that we can’t let our anger or trauma stop us from committing suicide and rewarding our enemies with the creation of another terror state, established in our ancestral homeland of Israel. Survey after survey in Israel shows how a majority of Israelis are against the creation of a state called palestine, with a growing understanding of how our presence in our ancestral lands of Judea & Samaria (aka “the West Bank of the Jordan River) helps protect Israel.
It’s as if Oct 7th never happened for the Biden administration. They are totally ignoring that the Israeli people post Oct 7th will never, ever allow for Arab self-rule in Gaza, Judea or Samaria.
In response to the multiple messages from the Biden administration, and now Schumer’s speech, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu took off the gloves with his recent response.
“To our friends, is your memory so short? Have you already forgotten Oct. 7th? Have you already forgotten the biggest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust? Have you lost your moral campus? Why are you running so fast to take from Israel the right to defend itself against the monsters from Hamas? Instead of putting pressure on Israel, as we fight a just war against a cruel enemy, put pressure on Hamas and their master, Iran. Some people want to replace the government by lobbying false accusations against its leaders, government, and IDF so they can stop the war before achieving our goals. We will not stop, and with the help of Hashem (the almighty above), we will continue until total victory.”
The Biden administration doesn’t want to hear these truths.
In addition to Netanyahu’s strong response, the Biden administration is totally misreading why the Israeli people feel stifled. We are not being stifled by our government, as Schume recently stated in his Senate speech. No, we are being stifled by our ally, the Biden administration, focused on sanctioning Jews and threatening to withhold weapons and munitions to Israel as we fight this just war and stopping us from winning this war, instead of threatening the funders of Hamas, Qatar and Iran, to have Hamas surrender and release our captives in Gaza!
It is as if the Biden administration is on auto-pilot with a destructive foreign policy to create a state called palestine, despite the reality on the ground. Hence, they think that the only way they can pursue their misguided two-state policy is by toppling the Netanyahu government.
Thankfully, their efforts until now have failed, and they will continue to fail, because they are misreading the situation.
In a zoom recording a few weeks ago, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who is also disconnected from the Israeli public sentiment, called upon the Israeli masses to storm Israel’s parliament, the Knesset, in order to topple the government by the middle of March. Why by the middle of March? Barak explained in that zoom call that in order for the Biden administration to have enough time to force the destructive two state solution upon us in Israel, due to the Israeli election cycle and the US election cycle, the Netanyahu government must be toppled by mid-March.
While no proof of coordination can be shared, it sounds pretty clear that there is some level of coordination going on between former Prime Minister Barak and the Biden administration.
So far, thankfully, Barak has failed. The masses are not storming the Knesset.
The other avenue the Biden administration allegedly is pursuing is via Israeli war cabinet Minister Benny Gantz. As one of the anti-government protest leaders recently said on Israeli news channel 14, he knows that the Biden White House told Gantz ‘how unhappy they are with him in failing to follow their orders.’
Here too, if that is their plan, then it also is failing. The Netanyahu government is still standing with no end in sight.
With each day, many more people in Israel feel that the Biden White House is stopping us from defending ourselves, and have no trust in President Biden or his administration.
Biden recently floated the idea of speaking directly to the Israeli people from Israel’s Knesset, but he is way off. The Israeli people don’t trust him.
What Biden, Schumer and the whole administration fail to internalize is Jewish history.
The Jewish people have survived all of our enemies for over 3,000+ years. While all the people, including Jews, who helped our enemies, are footnotes of history while we, the Jewish people, live on, stronger than ever.
Today, we are back home in our ancestral homeland for the third time as a sovereign Jewish country, and we are not giving our land to our enemies, or willing to endanger our lives, to fulfill a disastrous foreign policy of the Biden administration.
Biden has chosen the wrong side. Schumer has chosen the wrong side. They have chosen to assist the enemies of Israel instead of properly supporting an ally in a very just war.
The Bible is clear – “Those who bless Israel will be blessed. Those who curse Israel will be cursed.”
Today, as well, we, the Jewish people, will overcome our enemies.
Prime Minister Netanyahu will continue to navigate the continuation of this war until total victory, while juggling the misguided pressure of the Biden administration. It will be a painful process, but we will overcome.
How will the United States be affected by backstabbing an ally and choosing to appease terrorist organizations like Hamas & the Palestinian Authority, and terror supporting countries like Iran & Qatar?
That question has yet to be answered.
However, a triumphant Trump in the 2024 elections will definitely work as fast as possible to save America from the impact of the disastrous foreign policy decisions of the Biden administration.
