Celebrity Weddings of 2024: Stars Who Got Married This Year

The Golden Bachelor star Gerry Turner, Lauren Alaina, Usher and more celebrities went to the chapel in 2024 and got married.

Turner met Theresa Nist during the inaugural season of the Bachelor Nation spinoff, which aired in late 2023. Weeks after their televised proposal, Turner and Nist wed in a live TV ceremony on January 4. It marked the second marriage for both Turner and Nist, who lost their first spouses in 2017 and 2014, respectively. (The couple announced their split three months later on April 12.)

Usher, meanwhile, celebrated a career milestone alongside a personal one when he married Jenn Goicoechea in Las Vegas. Us Weekly confirmed in February that the couple obtained a marriage license while in Sin City for Super Bowl LVIII, where Usher performed the halftime show.

“They didn’t spend months planning it, but it came together beautifully nevertheless,” a source exclusively told Us after the pair exchanged vows. “Usher says Jenn’s the best partner he could ever hope for so he figured why not do it in Vegas?”

Six years after getting engaged, Murphy and Butcher said “I do” during a small private ceremony with family and close friends in Anguilla on July 9, according to People. The bride and groom both wore white for the ceremony.

News broke on July 10 that the pair quietly tied the knot in New York over Independence Day weekend.

Dexter Lawrence and Donna McCain

The Giants defensive tackle and McCain tied the knot on June 27, according to the couple’s Instagram Stories. The official MLFootball X account also shared a series of photos from the event, writing, “CONGRATULATIONS: #Giants star DT Dexter Lawrence got married to his fiancé Donna McCain today.” 

The pair reportedly said “I do” at The Bradford in North Carolina, located 30 miles outside of Raleigh.

Eva Amurri and Ian Hock

Susan Sarandon’s daughter Eva Amurri tied the knot with chef Ian Hock in a small ceremony in June. Against the backdrop of New York’s Hudson Valley, the couple exchanged personal vows in front of 40 guests, including Amurri’s three children.

Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo

Culpo and the San Francisco 49ers star officially tied the knot on June 29 after four years of dating. The couple were wed in a church on Watch Hill, Rhode Island, which Culpo told Vogue was the couple’s “number one priority.”

“It’s a covenant. It’s the beginning of the rest of your life — and it’s the union and bond of two people forever,” Culpo, who wore a Dolce & Gabbana ball gown, told Vogue of her wedding day.

The Bachelor alum and the NFL running back got married in an intimate Italian wedding on June 26.

“We decided it would just be us and to really focus on the commitment and significance of marriage,” Sluss told People one day later. “It’s easy to get caught up in all the glitz and glam.”

The Summer House alum and Sundin tied the knot in Verona, Italy on June 13. Denver’s costars were in attendance for the nuptials. Kyle Cooke shared a group photo with the groom on social media.

Murdoch and Zhukova, who is 26 years his junior, tied the knot less than three months after The New York Times reported the couple was engaged. The media mogul and biologist exchanged vows on June 1 at his Moraga Vineyard, per The Sun.

The Yellowstone costars confirmed their wedding news to Vogue on May 29. They tied the knot at her family home in Texas in honor of their shared Southern roots.

The Jackass alum and Marie exchanged vows on May 28 at the Val Verde Historic Hotel in Socorro County, New Mexico, according to TMZ. The outlet noted that the couple is there to film a movie titled Collecting Souls, in which Marie is the lead.

In footage obtained by TMZ, Margera got choked up while reciting his vows and thanking Marie for helping him quit drinking and begin skateboarding again. (The wedding comes months after Us Weekly exclusively revealed the couple’s engagement.)

Multiple outlets reported that the couple tied the knot in May. According to The Sun, Brown and Bongiovi “quietly” wed and have plans for “a bigger ceremony” later in the year.

The General Hospital actress tied the knot with her husband for a second time on what would have originally been their 21st wedding anniversary. (The couple was previously married from 2003 to 2017 before getting engaged once again in 2019.)

Bello tied the knot with her longtime partner during a gorgeous Mexico wedding ceremony on May 12. “We did it! The Twilight star confirmed to Vogue in an April 4 profile that she eloped in Italy several months earlier with composer Gilbert.

“They’ve all gotten along so well, and it even goes to the level of Theresa’s daughter, Jen, thanking her for bringing two new sisters into the family,” Turner previously told Us Weekly of their blended family. “I mean, it’s really great.”

Turner and his late first wife, Toni, shared daughters Angie and Jenny, while Nist and late husband Billy shared daughter Jen and son Tommy.

The Roswell, New Mexico star got engaged to Nicholas, whose last name she has yet to reveal, in March 2023 after initially matching on a dating app. They tied the knot in January on the same New York City stoop where he proposed.
