About The Author
William Stafford Sessoms, the author of The Last Ride: The Saga of Mister Bill, was born on a remote farm in a small rural town in North Carolina. After dedicating over 35 years to the nationally recognized retail store JCPenney’s, William, like Billy, the main character in His Book, felt unsettled, so he embarked on a journey of self-discovery that eventually led him to write four books.
Today, William is happily settled in and enjoying the life he worked so hard to build in his retirement community. Surrounded by friends and family, William enjoys the company of his two daughters, three grandkids, and great-grandkids. From playing bridge to attending socials and traveling, Sessoms life proves there is always time to pursue your passions.
