It symbolizes strength and support for Bitcoin.
This change came right after news broke that President Joe Biden would not seek re-election. The crypto community, which leans towards Biden’s rival, Donald Trump, took this as a hopeful sign for Trump’s possible return to office. Trump has been vocal against Biden’s crypto policies and has promised to safeguard Bitcoin and crypto miners’ rights. This has won him favor in the crypto world.

In addition to the profile change, Musk voiced his belief in an America that celebrates individual freedom and merit. Musk’s name is no stranger to digital assets news, given his well-known support for Dogecoin. The laser eyes are more than just a trend; they show a strong stance in the Bitcoin community.

Musk’s profile picture change is more than just a visual tweak. Earlier this year, he swapped his picture to an anime woman with glowing red eyes just weeks before Bitcoin hit its all-time high of $73,750 on March 14.
