WASHINGTON, D.C., May 15, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — Dr. Raj Subbu has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Subbu, a distinguished expert in the realm of software, serves as the President and Managing Member of DisputeSoft (https://www.disputesoft.com/), a leader in software disputes expert witness services. Since acquiring DisputeSoft in 2021, Dr. Subbu has leveraged his extensive software, analytics, and business experience to steadily steer DisputeSoft towards redoubling its position as a leader in the industry. The company’s team of highly proven experts and analysts offer thorough, incisive, and highly defensible insights and expert opinions on disputes involving software and IT failure, trade secrets misappropriation, copyright infringement, intellectual property infringement, and computer forensics. DisputeSoft’s experts specifically enable the triers of fact (juries and judges) to easily grasp complex technical findings, so their decisions are enabled and based on well-substantiated and highly defensible logical sets of facts.

Prior to his entrepreneurial venture, Dr. Subbu held several key positions with General Electric and Pratt & Whitney. His tenure at General Electric Global Research from 2001 to 2012 was marked by his role as a senior computer scientist and project leader, during which time he was granted approximately 30 US patents related to analytics and software. He concurrently served as an associate editor for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) from 2005 to 2012. At Pratt & Whitney, Dr. Subbu served in multiple business leadership roles during 2012 to 2020 at the intersection of analytics and its business deployments.

Dr. Subbu’s academic background has been foundational to his professional achievements. Dr. Subbu earned his doctorate in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2000, completing a doctoral dissertation at the intersection of artificial intelligence – specifically evolutionary algorithms, and distributed computation. His education laid the foundation for his analytical skills, focus, and determination – qualities that have propelled him steadily throughout his career. His determined transition from secure corporate environments to successful entrepreneurship during the COVID-19 pandemic, guided by the true north of his long-term entrepreneurial leaning, exemplifies his vision and adaptability.

Throughout his career, Dr. Subbu has been recognized with several recognitions and awards for his contributions to technology and engineering. Notably, Dr. Subbu was inducted as an IEEE Senior Member in 2004, received the Andrew P. Sage Best Transactions Paper Award from the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics in 2005, and the GE Technical Career Path award in 2011. His early recognitions include the Allen B. DuMont Prize and Henry J. Nolte Prize from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for his scholastic ability and outstanding engineering research and design.

Dr. Subbu deeply enjoys having a positive motivational impact on DisputeSoft’s team, and its clients that include startups, to Fortune 500 companies, and various state and federal government entities, including the various law firms that represent these clients. Dr. Subbu recognizes integrity, focus, and determination as the driving forces behind his success, investing tremendous time and effort to ensure the success of his team, and in turn the success of DisputeSoft’s clients. That he never has to spend a moment contemplating how DisputeSoft makes a fundamental positive difference in the lives of so many diverse clients year over year, is a key factor of his professional satisfaction. Beyond his professional life, Dr. Subbu enjoys spending his free time with his family and taking on challenging but highly satisfying projects on the cars he collects.
