How to Become Ordinary Light Novels Get Anime Adaptation

Honobu Yonezawa’s Shoshimin light novel series—known in English now as How to Become Ordinary—are officially getting an anime adaptation. A trailer made its way online along with July 2024 premiere plans and info on the cast and staff, so check out everything we know so far below.
First up is the trailer, which introduces Shuichiro Umeda (Akira Tendo in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead) as Jogoro Kobata and Hina Yomiya (Honami Konohoshi in Stardust Telepath) as Yuki Osanai.

The How to Become Ordinary plot follows a cynical boy and a shy but insightful girl, both of whom have trouble fitting in. They’re hoping to start fresh with a new life as ordinary high school kids, but a series of mysterious incidents dash those plans in short order.
The anime adaptation is being directed by Mamoru Kanbe (THE PROMISED NEVERLAND), with Toshiya Ono on series composition, Atsushi Saito on character designs and Takahiro Obata on music for the Lapin Track production.
