There are a few things that you will need to keep in mind when mining for Obsidian inside the Dry Caves of the Desert biome. Here’s a list of tips that will help you survive through the extreme heat as well as other potential dangers inside these caves:
Make sure that you carry a Rare or higher-rated Pickaxe to mine for Obsidian.
You should also carry the best quality weapon that you have in case you run into desert monsters or creeps.
Lastly, to make sure that you do not perish from the extreme heat, carry Snowberry Shakes and a Cool-Headed Charm. These will allow you to cool yourself even in the extreme heat of the desert caves.
