Jason Kelce Received Such a Sweet Eagles-Inspired Retirement Gift From His Wife

Former center Jason Kelce is a national treasure to the Philadelphia Eagles. So, too, is his wife, Kylie.

Kylie Kelce recently gave Jason an all-time legendary present befitting the future Hall of Famer, who announced his retirement from the NFL in March. Kylie reached out to Georgia-based designer Dana Theobald to commission a customized retirement gift for her husband, which she revealed on her Instagram on Monday.

The gift turned out to be a stunning wooden replica of the Eagles’ stadium, Lincoln Financial Field, built inside a mountable frame. Kelce’s jersey number, No. 62, and his many achievements—including his sole Super Bowl win in 2018—were etched into one side of the frame. The details of the stadium replica were meticulous and impeccable, from the tiny hash marks on the field to the perfectly straight rows in the stands.

Kylie Kelce wrote in the caption of her Instagram Story, “This beautiful custom design was two years in the making. I contacted @danatheo.designs two years ago! She came up with this beautiful custom design and then waited for me to give the retirement green light and J’s final list of accolades.”

Jason Kelce, a sixth-round pick by the Eagles in the 2011 draft, earned six All-Pro nods and seven Pro Bowl selections in 13 seasons in Philly. Despite calling it quits on an illustrious career, the 36-year-old hinted at the possibility of being involved with the Eagles in some capacity in the future.

Kelce told the Philadelphia Inquirer, “I don’t know what’s going to happen for me, but I do know I still want to be involved in the organization and still want to be a part of it, regardless of what the decision is.”
