Jonathan Majors has booked his first interview since his bombshell guilty verdict last month. The actor will sit down with Disney-owned ABC News and will be interviewed by ABC News anchor Linsey Davis.
For those planning to tune in, the conversation is set to debut on Good Morning America next Monday (Jan. 8) and additional segments will run on GMA3. Davis’ ABC News Live program, Prime, will also feature an extended version later that day, and IMPACT x Nightline will have a Hulu-exclusive special with more unaired segments on Jan. 11.
On Dec. 18, the Creed III star was found guilty of reckless assault and harassment. The case stemmed from a March 2023 altercation with his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.
Since then, the 34-year-old was dropped by Marvel Entertainment. He had a reoccurring role as Kang the Conquerer, appeared in Ant-Man: Quantuamania and Loki, and was set to appear in the upcoming Avengers: Kang Dynasty.
Although there are no further details about what the conversation will entail, Majors’ attorney previously expressed via press statement that he’s looking forward to “fully clearing his name.”
The statement read, “It is clear that the jury did not believe Grace Jabbari’s story of what happened in the SUV because they found that Mr. Majors did not intentionally cause any injuries to her. We are grateful for that.”
“We are disappointed, however, that despite not believing Ms. Jabbari, the jury nevertheless found that Mr. Majors was somehow reckless while she was attacking him. Mr. Majors is grateful to God, his family, his friends, and his fans for their love and support during these harrowing eight months. Mr. Majors still has faith in the process and looks forward to fully clearing his name,” it continued.
