On January 1st, 2025, former Echo Nest and Sofar Sounds CEO Jim Lucchese will begin as the fifth president of Berklee.

Virgin Music Group

Hidden Track Music founder Justin Bumper Reeve has signed on as Virgin’s SVP of global sync.

Warner Chappell Music

Warner Chappell has tapped Sony Music vet Tat Tong, based out of the publisher’s Shanghai office, to serve as VP of A&R and creative for Asia-Pacific.

Muse Group

Muse has revealed three hires: Debbie Diekelman (who previously held the same role at Hal Leonard) as CFO, over eight-year Spotify subscriber-growth professional Sven Ahrens as chief growth officer, and roughly 20-year Dell higher-up Mohammed “Mo” Chahdi as COO.

PPL PRS

PPL PRS has promoted more than five-year team member Greg Aiello from commercial director to MD.

iHeartMedia

Almost 27-year iHeartMedia vet Kim Williams has been named area president for Alaska as well as Hawaii, and Larry “Yako” Calderon Jr. is officially program director for iHeartMedia Miami’s Y100. Calderon Jr. is expected to continue as programming strategist and coordinator “for iHeart Latino stations across the US.”

BMI

BMI has welcomed longtime tech exec Tom Kershaw as CTO and added Justin Rohde (formerly with Xplor) as its first chief transformation officer.

Bertelsmann

BMG CEO Thomas Coesfeld has been appointed to Bertelsmann’s executive board.

Arista Records

Sony Music’s Arista has elevated three-year employee Nick Petropoulos to EVP of promotion and artist development.

Big Loud

Big Loud has formally boosted Stacy Blythe, who joined the company almost nine years ago, to EVP of promotion.

Pitchfork

No Bells founder Mano Sundaresan has become Pitchfork’s head of editorial content.

Republic has bumped David Wolter to co-head of East Coast A&R and upped Miles Beard to the same role but on the opposite coast.

Hybe

Longtime Hybe higher-up Lenzo Yoon, who previously served as co-head of the Hybe America division that’s now helmed solely by Scooter Braun, is reportedly set to leave the BTS agency at 2024’s end.

Universal Music UK

Former TaP and Atlantic marketer Hannah Neaves has been confirmed as president of Universal Music Recordings, Universal Music UK’s catalog division.

Splice

Splice has brought on Kenny Ochoa, formerly Snap’s head of music curation and creative licensing, as SVP of content.
