Washington, DC (RestaurantNews.com) For nearly 40 years, Vancouver-based Moxies has been known for everything-made-in-house culinary, signature cocktails and enlightened hospitality. Since entering the United States market in 2016, the brand has built a highly successful U.S. portfolio of one corporate and seven franchise locations.
Now, the brand seeks a seasoned hospitality franchise partner to launch its inaugural Washington, D.C. location.
Moxies D.C. will enjoy a prime downtown presence at 1111 20th Street NW, just south of Dupont Circle. Known as the Golden Triangle, this fast-growing, high-traffic area boasts top restaurants and bars, retail, parks, museums, and financial and government buildings.

The location is also convenient for nine hotels, 30,000 George Washington University and Johns Hopkins University students, and the three Metro stops with the highest ridership.
Moxies has secured the location lease and is looking to grant a franchise with a site sublease. Other investment arrangements may be available to an interested operating partner.

This Moxies location is a unique retrofit of an existing office building. Construction on the 8,000-plus square-foot space will begin in late 2024, with a projected grand opening in fall 2025.
Moxies U.S. also seeks franchisee partners in Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver and Nashville.
