Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver.

Rebel Moon is probably not worth a critic’s pick spot. If anything this is more a reminder that there is a part two coming. But you know, maybe part two of Zack Synder’s take on Star Wars will bang because if it is his version of a Star Wars tale then The Scargiver would have to be the Empire Strikes Back of Rebel Moon, right? (Streaming April 19.)
➽ Ripley — Adapted from Patricia Highsmith’s thrilling novel (that set the stage for the beloved 1999 film), Ripley stars Andrew Scott as the talented con artist who is tasked with bringing a rich man’s son Dickie (Johnny Flynn) home who is galavanting around Italy with his girl, Marge (Dakota Fanning). (Streaming April 4.)
➽ Strange Way of Life — Eighteen years after turning down Brokeback Mountain, Pedro Almodóvar comes with a short film that has its own take on similar themes as he explores the love of two cowboys (Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal) as they reconnect after 25 years. (Streaming April 12.)
➽ The Circle, season 6 — It may never reach the highs of its novel first season, but The Circle can be entertaining enough reality television for when you need to do chores around the house. Now in its sixth season, the social media competition show is adding a new player to its list of competitors: an AI bot. If it wins, we’re doomed. (Streaming April 17.)
