In Next Weeks Warhammer Preorder, the Summer King blesses us with their presence after weeks of speculation.
Sunday’s are always a treat for Warhammer fans, as Games Workshop usually reveals everything coming to pre-order next Saturday. This time around, it’s mostly Age of Sigmar on the table, as the Flesh-Eater Courts finally get the proper release of their new models and Battletome.
Even though the Army Box has been available since last year, these past few weeks were only a pre-release period, as the Courts were not playable in most tournaments. But after the pre-orders get shipped, they can expand the realm upon everywhere!
Next Weeks Warhammer Preorder
Dawnbringers Book IV: The Mad King Rises
Even though Dawnbringers Book V has been revealed at the LVO, Book IV wasn’t available – up until now. In this lorebook Ushoran prepares for the Crusade into New Summercourt, also containing new Army of Renowns, as well as a Regiment of Renown with all 6 of Nagash’ mortarchs. It also expands on the story-driven Path to Glory for the Citiues of Sigmar.
The Mad King Rises will also have a limited version – only 300 numbered books will be available, so get yours if you can!
Ushoran, Mortarch of Delusion
The Sombre Paladin FINALLY becomes playable in a few weeks! This incredible and huge miniature will be a centrepiece of any Flesh-Eater Courts army, with great rules to pair up with – available in the Battletome, as well as the Mad King Rises and online.
Fangs of the Blood Queen
Even though they are not part of the Courts, they are tied to them, as the Fang of Nulahmia and her beasts are servants of Neferata, the greatest rival of Ushoran. This new Dawnbringers box serves as great reinforcement for Soulblight Gravelords players looking to build a menagerie.
Flesh-Eater Courts Battletome
The Flesh-Eater Courts Battletome will finally be available to everyone with a Limited Edition and Standard version, containing all 27 Warscrolls the noble warriors can use, as well as painting guides, lore, Path to Glory and Matche Play rules.
Grand Justice Gormayne
After being revealed before the World Championships of Warhammer, Grand Justice Gormayne is in session at last! The gruesome character for Flesh-Eater Courts should be a must play for everyone with its flexible rules and guts-for-hair.
Abhorrant Cardinal
Death doesn’t have Priests in Age of Sigmar – or do they? The Abhorrant Cardinal has broken a tradition in AoS, as the Carrion King blessed these individuals with divine power.
Royal Decapitator
This model probably has the greatest rules of all new Flesh-Eater Courts minis: it can destroy anything it damaged on a 5+. Worthy of being the Summer King’s Hangman, the Royal Decapitator is also coming with the full FeC drop.
Marrowscroll Herald
Previously only available in the Jerrion’s Delegation Dawnbringers Box, the Marrowscroll Herald will be finally purchasable on his own – and is now much more useful thanks to the new FeC abilities.
Varghulf Courtier
The Flesh-Eater Courts Army Box brought a new model for the Varghulf Courtier, but this feral beast – I mean, noble knight blessed with unnatural power is coming on his own as well!
Cryptguard and Morbheg Knights
What are nobles and courtiers without their serfs and knights? First showcased in the Flesh-Eater Courts Army Box, the Cryptguard and Morbheg Knights will also become available for purchase separately – and if their rules remain the same, you WILL want to get some of them!
Flesh-Eater Courts Dice Set
With every new faction released or every new expansion comes a new set of dice, and it’s no different for the Courts. With their 16 dead-looking grey and red dice, you will surely roll your kingdom to greatness!
Ironhead Squad Prospectors – Champion with a Mining Laser
The Leagues of Votann’s branch, the Ironhead Squad Prospectors’ will receive a new character in the Champion. This mining expert is armed with a Mining Laser, capable of cutting through the hardest materials – or another gang’s member on Necromunda.
Warhammer Store Anniversary Models
Brakki of the Gilded Key
The Fyreslayers received the grace of the Store Anniversary models of 2024, with Brakki joining their ranks. While he doesn’t have special rules, he can be used as an Auric Runesmiter – and an epic one at that.
Invocation of the Elements
The T’au Empire get a new Ethereal model with an interchangeable emblem representing the four castes – Earth, Fire, Air and Water. Even though they have no special rules, you don’t want to miss this miniature.
White Dwarf 497
The February White Dwarf also becomes available this Saturday, with 144 pages of articles, Tyranid Datacards for a brand new Combat Patrol, as well as the Flesh-Eater Courts in the Cursed city. It also contains the first Battle Report of Warhammer: The Old World, which had its first boxes delivered to stores in the past week!
Ork Choppa Bottle Opener
While an Ork might find smashing a bottle against their skull a more correct way of opening it, if you’d rater drink the contents, you can stay Orky with the Coppa Bottle Opener, coming to stores next week – not for pre-order, so you can get your Ushoran box with a cold one.
Even though the Sunday reveals left almost nothing to be desired, GW still managed to top it off: in the end of the article, they confirmed that the next Warhammer 40k balance dataslate is coming next week, as well as the Metawatch talking about LVO – stay tuned to ESTNN for more information!
