If you’re wondering which are the rarest Item Shop pickaxes in Fortnite that are yet to make a return in the game, we have you covered with our curated list for the same.
There’s some sort of satisfaction when it comes to equipping rare cosmetics in Fortnite. Be it skins, emotes, or even pickaxes, showing them off in the lobby and seeing other players slowly gathering around you truly feels like the ultimate flex.
If you’re the type to hoard all kinds of cosmetics and show off your pickaxe, then you probably want to know if your pickaxe is considered rare or not. Here are the top seven rarest Item Shop pickaxes in Fortnite.
7. Skully Splitter
The Skully Splitter Pickaxe in Fortnite.
The Skully Splitter is a vibrant pickaxe with two selectable styles, making it a suitable combo with a lot of colorful skins. It was first introduced in Season 7, with 10 occurences in the Item Shop so far. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been back in the Item Shop since January 27, 2020.
6. Jagged Edge
The Jagged Edge is part of the Hazcat set, which was first released in Season X on August 30, 2019. Even though the Catastrophe outfit from this set was seen not too long ago this year, the Jagged Edge pickaxe, last seen on October 9, 2019, has yet to make a comeback so far.

5. Brute Force
The Brute Force pickaxe.
The Brute Force pickaxe was first released on March 5th, 2019 as part of the Tech Ops Set. What makes this pickaxe so rare is that it only had three occurrences in the Item Shop, with all of them being in 2019. There’s no telling when this cosmetic will be coming back since it was last seen 1560 days ago.
4. Aero Axe
The Aero Axe Pickaxe.
Similar to the Brute Force pickaxe, Aero Axe was last seen in the item shop exactly 1560 days ago. Despite leaving the item shop on the same day as the Brute Force, the Aero Axe is considered even more rare because it was only available in the Item Shop for one single day. Those who purchased this from the Sky Stalker set back then are extremely lucky.
