Rob McElhenney streaming the Eagles-Bucs playoff game at the Emmy Awards is the most relatable sports fan moment

There might not be a bigger Philadelphia sports fan than actor Rob McElhenney. The It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia star not only has a show related to his favorite city, he’s also a mainstay at Phillies and Eagles games. So you’d think McElhenney would be in Tampa Bay to see Jalen Hurts and the Eagles in the playoffs on Monday night.

Or at the very least watching on a huge television.

Instead, McElhenney proved he’s just a sports fan like the rest of us as he streamed the game on his phone from his seat at the Emmy Awards. Welcome To Wrexham, the documentary on the Welsh football team that McElhenney co-owns with Ryan Reynolds, won five of the six Emmys it was nominated.
