Tama Tonga’s Brother Poised to Join Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline Ahead of Roman Reigns’ Return

WWE’s Bloodline has gone through a complete makeover after The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns went on a hiatus. The Tribal Heir, Solo Sikoa took over the group and decided to kick Jimmy Uso out after he brought his cousin Tama Tonga to the faction. Another Samoan, Tonga Loa soon joined Tama Tonga.

After NJPW saw the departure of its most prominent talents, it seems like another NJPW star and the brother of Tama Tonga is set to make his debut for the Bloodline. As Tonga had revealed earlier before joining the WWE, he had several discussions with the Endeavor-owned company.

And he wasn’t the only one, as his brother Hikuleo too was in talks with the promotion. And now, he is already wrapping things up with NJPW.

Several figures claimed that the former STRONG Openweight Champion will decide not to renew with NJPW and join WWE, becoming a new member of the Bloodline alongside his brothers and Solo Sikoa. In fact, the talks had already begun at the beginning of last year. Reports had surfaced that the WWE had engaged in talks with Tama Tonga and Hikuleo for their potential recruitment. However, Vince McMahon returned to the promotion to sell the company. And this caused all negotiations to come to a halt.

WWE is reportedly still interested in the NJPW star as per Fightful Select. In fact, the higher-ups within the promotion have expressed interest in the Samoan. Fightful was also told that things have been this way for months leading up to NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 show. And much like Finn Balor’s role in bringing Dragon Lee to the Stamford-based promotion, intermediaries are helping to express interest in the talent.

The 33-year-old is the nephew of Haku, who adopted him as his son. Hikuleo made his debut for NJPW back in 2016 after training at the Team 3D academy, NJPW Dojo, and Fale Dojo. He has also appeared in IMPACT Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling. So it would be interesting to see his impact once he makes his debut for the promotion. What do you think? Will Hikuleo join soon? Let us know in the comments.
