The 2023–24 Broadway season began what feels like a millennium ago with Grey House on June 1, 2023. Now, 38 more opening nights later, the season is finally wrapped up, which means the 77th Tony Award nominations can officially come out. The noms were announced by Tony winners Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Take Me Out) and Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton). Stereophonic and Hell’s Kitchen both scored an impressive 13, with The Outsiders following close behind with 12. The award ceremony will be held on June 16 at Lincoln Center with host Ariana DeBose returning for her third year in a row. Who will win big? It’s anybody’s guess (probably Merrily We Roll Along).
