Voice actors Minami Tsuda and Tatsumaru Tachibana announced their marriage on their official X (formerly Twitter) accounts on Saturday.
“I would like to announce that I, Minami Tsuda, have married voice actor Tatsumaru Tachibana. I will never forget my gratitude to everyone and continue to work hard to hone my skills. I look forward to your continued support,” Tsuda posted on X.
“Although I feel a little embarrassed to share my personal matters, I am very humbled to announce that I have married Minami Tsuda. We will continue to keep our gratitude in mind and work even harder, striving to be better performers who can bring smiles to everyone. We would appreciate your continued support and guidance,” Tachibana wrote.
In 2009, Tsuda began her voice acting career with minor characters in anime such as Toradora! and Pokemon Best Wishes! (Pokémon: Black & White). The following year, she landed her first major role, starring as Phryne in Fractale.
Tsuda is notable for voicing characters such as Mei Aihara in Citrus, Yui Funami in Yuru Yuri (YuruYuri: Happy Go Lily), Yui Ichii in Yuyushiki, Anna Kobayakawa in Nijiiro Days (Rainbow Days), and Norn Clatalissa Jioral in Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi (Redo of Healer).
Tachibana debuted as a voice actor in Kenja no Mago (Wise Man’s Grandchild) in 2019. He landed his breakthrough role as Mo-Ri Jin in The God of High School the following year.
Tachibana’s other roles include Gregory Violet in Kuroshitsuji: Kishuku Gakkou-hen (Black Butler: Public School Arc) and Eisaku Ootomo in Ao Ashi.
