Aug. 4 (UPI) — Workers at a pair of nearby car dealerships in Kansas had similar surprises on consecutive days when they were each visited by escaped goats.
Doug Swift, manager of Mid-States Auto Sales in Wichita, said he has trouble believing his eyes when he looked out through the door and saw a small goat looking back at him.
“It was just standing right there. It kind of freaked me out, and I was just, I just don’t see that. I mean there’s been dogs on our lot and stuff, and I kind of, when I saw it out of the corner of my eye, I had to double-take it,” Swift told KAKE-TV.
Employees captured the goat and one posted photos of the animal to Facebook, which resulted in the business being contacted by another nearby dealership, ICT Auto.
“They messaged us and told us they had one yesterday,” Swift said.
The goat that showed up at Mid-States Auto Sales was picked up by its owner Thursday. It was unclear what happened to the goat that showed up at ICT Auto.
