Vice President Kamala Harris is sharing how she achieves her flawless silk press with comedian and actor Keke Palmer.

Kamala Harris Gets Candid About Her Silk Press
The 29-year-old mother of one spoke exclusively with the Vice President during a recent episode of her podcast, ‘Baby, This Is Keke Palmer.’ The conversation took place at the White House, and toward the end, Palmer decided to ask Harris a series of more personal, candid questions.
“Question number one, how many times a month do you get a silk press?”
Palmer asked.
Vice President Harris jumped right into her response, explaining, “So you know, I don’t use a curling iron.”
Palmer then appeared jaw-dropped.
“It’s too much heat.”
Vice President Harris explained.
“I use a round brush.”
In awe, Palmer continued to share her questions for Harris, asking, “Now, what kind of magical round brush?”
Palmer continued by inferring that Vice President Harris’ hair “must be super fine.” But the politician disagreed.
“No, it’s not. It takes a while. A boar-bristle… but it takes a lot of heat. But it’s too much heat to do that and do [a curling iron.]”
Vice President Harris explained, to which Palmer responded.
“Girl, you have us shook on the internets.”
The comedian then went on to remark that Vice President Harris and Queen Latifah “are going neck and neck with the silk press, honey.”

Furthermore, Palmer was right in her statement that the Vice President has the internet “shook” with her flawless silk press. After the comedian’s podcast episode with the vice president went live, social media users flocked to share their thoughts and thanked Palmer for getting the politician to share her long-coveted hair secret.

As Palmer referenced, rapper and actor Queen Latifah has also stunned the world with her flawless silk press over the years. In 2018, she took to social media to reveal the secret weapon behind her liquid hair, stylist Iasia Merriweather, as reported by 21Ninety.
