A 56-year-old man from Alberta is facing a number of charges after allegedly crashing into a Highway 417 overpass and fleeing the scene.
Ontario Provincial Police say the driver of a transport truck, carrying vehicles, struck the Woodroffe overpass around 12 p.m. on Christmas Day. Police said the driver was located around 4:30 p.m. that afternoon.

The driver faces charges of failing to remain at the scene of a crash, failing to report an accident and failing to report damage to property on a highway.
