Alison Hammond is no stranger to a bold print or two when it comes to her wardrobe, and one of her latest This Morning outfits is the perfect example of how to wear a pattern well. On Friday 24 May’s episode, Alison wore a beautiful oversized navy blouse with dainty white polka dots, and we’re loving how easy and effortless it is to style.
Her exact shirt was the Shiloh Spot Shirt, £49 here, from Monsoon, and it’s the perfect choice for this unpredictable British weather we’ve all been dealing with. From its classic print to its lightweight material, it’s an absolute wardrobe essential.

As well as being the perfect pick for days when we get almost every weather type in quick succession, the blouse is also a classic design that’ll see you through every season and every occasion. You can never go wrong with polka dots, and the combination of navy and white is a chic, timeless style.

The blouse is available in sizes 8-24, and although the website lists it as true to size, one reviewer mentioned that they found it to be large fitting and suggested sizing down. While Alison’s blouse has a subtle collared V-neckline, if you prefer a more buttoned-up look with a classic shirt fit the Fiona Polka Dot Print Blouse, £55 here, from Joanie is a great alternative.
It has a similar dainty polka dot print and comes in a black and white colour combo that’s equally timeless and stylish. However instead of a deeper neckline, it buttons all the way up to the neck, giving you plenty of styling options that you can switch up depending on the occasion.
