What Were the Best Black Friday Deals From 2022?

Black Friday is one of the few times of year we see Apple devices drop to some of the lowest prices ever. Last year, AirPods (2nd Gen) hit just $89, the lowest price we’ve seen them fall since. The Apple Watch SE (1st Gen) dropped to $199 last fall, and we’re seeing comparable deals happening now.

Looking to score a new iPhone? Thompson says “It’s possible the iPhone 14s could be on some type of deal due to the recent iPhone 15 release.”

Where Can I Find the Best Apple Deals?

Since Apple as a brand likely won’t drop prices on products, your best bet for saving while shopping is from big box retailers like Amazon and Walmart. According to Thompson, “The best Apple deals are historically always at your major retailers like Amazon and Walmart. But don’t forget about Apple deals to shop at Apple.com. The company rarely participates in holiday sales throughout the year, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday Apple has offered some pretty good deals. Most of these deals are tied to receiving a gift card with a purchase of an Apple product, and if that’s the case this year, then you’ll have an opportunity to double up and buy more goods for your loved ones.”

What Stores Offer Apple Gift Card Deals?

“We often see Apple gift card deals go live directly at Apple.com, however, there are rare occasions where you might find an Apple gift card deal at a retailer,” Thompson says. “For example, earlier this year Best Buy was offering an Apple gift card deal, where if you spent $100 on an Apple gift card you received a $10 Best Buy gift card,” So, if you’re on the hunt for an Apple gift card, the best place to shop during official Black Friday deals is likely going to be Apple’s site. Last year, shoppers could receive an Apple gift card with their purchase of an iPad, AirPods, Mac, iPhone, and beyond.
