If you watched Love Island’s 2023 series, you might remember a huge jewellery trend was sparked by one of the contestants. Model Arabella Chi religiously wore her personalised ‘Arabella’ necklace during her stint in the villa, causing watchers to wonder where it was from and how they could snap up the glitzy gold piece for themselves.
The answer was a slight disappointment to some hoping for a bargain buy, as her exact necklace is from luxury brand Lulu Kachoo and comes with a £2.3k price tag. Arabella models Say it With’s Gothic Custom Name Necklace in Yellow Gold

In a new collaboration with brand Say it With, the 33 year old has dropped a necklace that looks incredibly similar to the designer piece she wears on repeat. The Gothic Custom Name Necklace in Yellow Gold, £125 here, features a gothic-style font, stainless steel material – meaning this necklace is waterproof, anti-fade and anti-tarnish – and a fine cable chain plated in 18k yellow gold. If this design isn’t similar enough, there’s also a diamond-encrusted version for £10 extra to really give you a similar look: Gothic Custom Name CZ Necklace in Yellow Gold, £135 here.
It’s worth pointing out you won’t get the same quality since Lulu Kachoo’s design is a 14k white gold piece to last you a lifetime, but Say it With’s alternative is great for anyone looking to jump on the personalised trend for less – £2,175 less, to be exact.

For inspiration on other personalised necklaces to shop, you can look to other Love Island stars from previous series for affordable alternatives. Joanna Chimonides from All Stars wore a gorgeous Pandora Gold Double-link Chain Necklace, £150 here for the exact one, during her stint on the show, causing Google searches for the necklace to soar by 486%.
Going further back than that, Gemma Owen went viral in 2023 after she sported a gorgeous chain with an ‘XX’ design. News broke that the piece is a vintage design by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. from the 80s, and it’s rumoured to be worth a whopping £20,000. Luckily for us, Gemma came out of the villa and collaborated with Abbott Lyon to design a similar necklace for those wanting her look for less.
