His vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Meanwhile, police in the MRC des Collines had to deal with two off-road incidents late Friday and early Saturday.

The first was in the Val-des-Monts sector at about 8 p.m., where a 42-year-old man was taken into custody after the car he was driving left the road on Route du Carrefour.

Two hours later, a 19-year-old Gatineau man was stopped at a joint roadblock with Gatineau police. The man registered well above the legal alcohol limit.

Finally, at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, first responders were called to River Road in Ange-Gardien, where a vehicle had flipped into the bush.

When tested, the driver, a 23-year-old man from Gatineau, registered well above the legal limit.

All three of the drivers in the Des Collines had their licenses suspended for 90 days, and their vehicles were impounded for seven days.
