Who can forget the Princess of Wales 2023 red carpet BAFTA Awards look? Looking sensational as always the people’s Princess certainly caused a stir with her outfit, and surprisingly not for the Grecian-style Alexander McQueen gown she debuted but for her thrifty choice of jewellery.
Fashion fans were sent immediately Into a frenzy over her gold cascadingly floral drop earrings that weren’t from the Royal Vault but instead an affordable £18 pair from her favourite high street store, Zara.
As expected, the luxe-looking earrings sold out instantly and now you can only get your hands on them on eBay for over double the price. For those who missed out, we’ve found a design that looks almost identical at ASOS for £12 here.

The Zara earrings are made up of three flowers bunched together with rhinestone appliqué and petals cascading down. You’ll be surprised at how similar the ASOS pair are. They have an uncanny waterfall petal design but without the rhinestones.
