December 28’s episode of ‘Bigg Boss 17’ had the third captaincy task of the season. This gave rise to an overdose of drama, with several housemates getting into heated arguments.

Another day at the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house meant another bout of drama, but the December 28 episode simply had an overdose of it. While Isha and Samarth ganged up against Abhishek and it ended up with a very heated argument between Isha and Abhishek, Munawar and Mannara fought it out and have strained their friendship as well. Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, as usual, also had a fight.

CAPTAINCY TASK GETS INTENSE
Bigg Boss announced a new captaincy task where contestants would have to break a bottle on the head of the housemate who they want out of the race. It started with K-pop sensation Aoora performing the song ‘Jimmy Jimmy’ in a makeshift club. In the middle of this performance, the sound of contestants fighting is played intermittently and during this interval, housemates had to run to the bar manned by Munawar Faruqui and Isha Malviya.
Among the contestants who’ve arrived at the bar, the chosen three housemates must summon the other three housemates they want to nominate out of the captaincy race by breaking a bottle on their head. The last one standing earned the captaincy for the week.
MUNAWAR ENDS FRIENDSHIP WITH MANNARA
Disappointed at Munawar for not backing her ambition for captaincy, Mannara Chopra confronted him and wanted an explanation for the lack of support. She reminded him that she had supported his captaincy stint and asked him if he’s worried she will vote out his now close friend in the house, Ayesha Khan.
Not in the mood to explain, Munawar admitted that he won’t be able to live up to her expectations of him. She mocked him by saying that leaving things unaddressed is his recurring problem. Having had enough, Munawar said their friendship is the first thing he is addressing by ending it. The confrontation became a heated exchange of insults, marking the end of a friendship that the audience witnessed since the premiere of the show.
ISHA AND ABHISHEK GET INTO WAR OF WORDS
Relationship woes crop up again in the house as Isha Malviya, Samarth Jurel and Abhishek Kumar fight over the captaincy task. Abhishek alleged that Isha had been biased, and she fired back, stating that his opinion didn’t matter to her.
Samarth began instigating Abhishek, who warns the former that he will cry over Isha someday. Isha made an explosive revelation by saying that breaking up with Abhishek was the best decision of her life. Abhishek claimed that he was the one to back out of the relationship and if he wanted, she would have patched up with him.
ANKITA-VICKY FIGHT AGAIN
Ankita Lokhande’s patience in dealing with her husband, Vicky Jain, seemed to be coming to an end. Vicky mocked his wife for not being cooperative during cooking. Ankita warned him to not test her anger, but Vicky didn’t budge.
After a while, Vicky asked whether she will talk to him or not. An exasperated Ankita stated that she didn’t want to be involved in Vicky’s life and that she’ll stay away from him, leaving everyone to wonder if the couple will ever be on the same page.
