BBC The Traitors’ Mollie: ‘Why I wish I’d warned my boyfriend about Harry’

It feels like an age since we watched 22-year-old Mollie Pearce through our fingers during the nailbiting BBC The Traitors final, but it was actually only the other day. Now that the dust is beginning to settle after the finale, Mollie is looking back on the “crazy and emotional” journey the hit show took her on.

Speaking exclusively to OK!, Mollie tells us that she feels fondly towards all of her fellow season two contestants. “We’re all like a little family and I think that it’s really important that we all support each other, and that’s exactly what we’ve been doing.”

There is, however, one contestant in particular that we’re keen to get Mollie’s opinion on, Harry Clark. After unceremoniously duping Mollie out of the cash prize right at the last moment, we wonder if the two have spoken since that heart-stopping moment.

“We’re all good.,” she nods. “We spoke straight after on our own and we just laughed. I might have called him some names but I’m over it now.”

The model tells us that she’s experienced some negativity online after being accused of being blind to the signs of Harry being a Traitor.

“I’d like to point out, which people don’t realise, I was never there when Harry’s name was brought up,” she says. “It was always being talked about in a different room when I was never there. Harry’s name was actually never, ever mentioned to me. Jaz brought that information up at the last round table, but it wasn’t enough to make me change my mind, if that makes sense.”

We also have to ask Mollie how it felt to read some of the rumours about a romance between her and Harry when the show was airing.

“Neither of us warned our partners about how the public was going to react to our friendship,” Mollie says

“This is super interesting because neither of us warned our partners about how the public was going to react to our friendship because, for us, it was just that,” she says. “We just happened to be opposite sexes of similar ages. It [the rumours] took me by surprise, and I wish I could have prepared Max, but I never saw that coming. It’s obviously not very nice for our other halves to read that stuff.”

Max is Mollie’s boyfriend of nearly three years, who she credits for treating her like “an absolute queen” – and who she feels incredibly secure with.

“I went home to Max and I was like, I made a really good friend on the show. That’s it. But I made a lot of good friends on the show,” she adds.

We think we know the answer but we ask the final question anyway: Is there any truth to the rumour that Harry is taking Mollie on holiday with his winnings?

“No,” Mollie laughs, “we’re not going away together. He owes me nothing. He played the game and he deserved to win that money.”

Well that’s the end of that!
