The actor plays Blippi when the show tours the world and as he is popular with live audiences, he’s now known as “Blippi from the live show.”
Stevin stopped playing the character because he became a dad, welcoming son Lochlan David John on 9 March 2022 with fiancee Alyssa Ingham.
They sweetly announced her pregnancy on Instagram in October 2021, when he shared a picture of himself kissing her while she held some ultrasound photos. He captioned his post: “Parenthood coming 2022.”

What is Blippi about?
The character is used to explain things to kids in a simple way. He always describes an object and what it is used for.
In the numerous different episodes, Blippi does everything from building sandcastles and learning sports to tours around museums, playgrounds and farmhouses.
It also features songs and dances for children and parents to learn together. It’s so popular that Blippi and Moonbug also feature in Blippi Wonders.
In Blippi Wonders, an animated series, the character goes on different adventures. There’s even been a Blippi Musical.
When did the Blippi musical come out?
A Blippi The Musical tour came to Abu Dhabi in February. All of the fun songs and dances, education, music and family entertainment played out at the UAE’s Etihad Arena.
It also toured North America and played at both the Lyric and Apollo Theatres in London last year.
