Struggling to find available pickleball courts to join in the fastest-growing sport in North America?
Annoyed by the piercing tap-tap, tap-tap sounds, sometimes early in the morning, of the pickleball striking the racquet?

Concerned that the pickleball craze might increasingly eliminate more and more tennis courts throughout the city?
Well, now’s your chance to rally support for your view on the city’s next direction.
Ottawa’s recreation, cultural and facility services department wants to hear from the public as it develops a formal outdoor tennis and pickleball strategy.
From now until Dec. 31, residents are encouraged to answer am online survey — https://engage.ottawa.ca/tennis_pickleball — to offer up opinions.
The population can also reach out with further comments at tennis_pickleball@ottawa.ca.
Pickleball, which was invented in 1965, has surged in popularity post-pandemic — in many cases at the expense of tennis — with an estimated five million active players in North America.
