As David and Victoria Beckham’s explosive new documentary series hits Netflix, we take a closer look at the couple’s stunning Cotswold hideaway complete with its very own lake!

As David and Victoria Beckham’s exciting new Netflix documentary series Beckham hit our screens on Wednesday 4 October, fans were eagerly lapping up the insight into the showbiz power couple’s life and journey to stardom.

From tackling marriage difficulties and juggling sporting success through to raising four children and sharing harrowing kidnap fears, no topic was off limits as the couple gave cameras a firsthand look at their lives in the spotlight.

One key detail that many eagle eyed fans noticed however was that several key moments in the series took place at David and Victoria’s stunning countryside farmhouse, with the couple having seriously boosted its value after picking up the listed building back in December 2016 for half the price!

The couple first purchased the Cotswolds home for around £6.15million, but in the subsequent years since have renovated several areas of the property, to incorporate a sauna, swimming pool, football pitch, gym, and even a £50,000 safari tent to entertain guests on the grounds.

It is now thought to be worth in region of £12million in total!

Although the farmhouse isn’t the family’s main residence, the rural location has lead to it being used as a retreat for the busy stars when they need a chance to relax and unwind away from the pressures of fame.
