The death of a 66-year-old man in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township has been deemed a homicide, Ontario Provincial Police said Thursday.
An OPP media release said the victim had been identified as Giles Dagenais.

Officers found a body in a residence just after 7 a.m. on Monday, the police statement added.
Investigators believe there is no threat to public safety, the statement said, though people in the Toledo area can expect to see a continued police presence while the OPP continues to investigate.
Toledo is located just over an hour’s drive southwest of Ottawa.
