The fully-electric Range Rover has been teased and it follows heavily on the footsteps of the current-gen SUV in terms of its physical appearance.

Land Rover has teased the fully electric Range Rover SUV. Along with this, the brand has also started the waiting list for the electric Range Rover, which is expected to make its debut next year, which will allow the customers in the waiting list to put in their names first for pre-orders. Real-world road testing for the electric Range Rover has begun.
The Range Rover electric is based on 800v electric architecture, making it one of the few EVs in the market to follow the more advanced technology. According to the brand, the electric drivetrain will deliver performance on par with the V8 powered Range Rover, including off-road prowess, towing capacity, water wading and on-road performance.

Jaguar Land Rover’s flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture will be underpinning the electric SUV. This 800v architecture will allow very high charging speeds and greater levels of efficiency. Details on the powertrain are scarce right now, but the electric Range Rover is expected to feature a dual-motor setup at the least, with intelligent AWD merged with Land Rover’s famed Terrain Response system. The brand does say that this will be the quietest and the most refined Range Rover they’ve ever made.

With the visuals shared by Land Rover, it is clear that the fully-electric Range Rover will not differentiate itself much from the ICE and hybrid powered Range Rover. It will come with a similar grille and taillamps, and is expected to match the Range Rover in size (both standard and long wheelbase). The centre caps feature an EV insignia instead of the Land Rover logo.
Further details of the upcoming Range Rover electric are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
