Trees and rooftops are obviously not the only places for a determined cat to cause trouble.
At dinner time Friday night, “Chichi” discovered a hole in the wall from ongoing renovations of a family home in the 700 block of Scala Avenue in Orléans and went exploring.

The cat became stuck between the first- and second-floor joist area with no exit strategy.
Ottawa Fire Services were called for the rescue.
Firefighters were able to remove floor vent duct work and “safely removed the cat without causing any major damage to the home.”
“Chichi” was returned to its owner and was doing well, Ottawa Fire Services said on social media.
