Ottawa Fire Services rescued a driver who was trapped early Sunday morning after his vehicle flipped at the eastbound Montreal Road off-ramp of Highway 174.

Photos that Ottawa Fire Services shared on X (the new name for Twitter) show the vehicle flipped on the grass, driver’s-side down. Firefighters responded at approximately 2:45 a.m. in response to 911 calls and found the driver unable to exit. The firefighters used rescue jacks to stabilize the vehicle and then extricated the driver through the passenger’s side just after 3 a.m.
